Warren Schoenbright reveal two new tracks for April release

London-based experimental noise outfit Warren Schoenbright have been busy carving out a niche for themselves in the darker corners of the industrial scene for well over ten years. If you’ve spent any time in the capital’s sweatier, louder basements, you’ll know they aren’t exactly known for catchy pop hooks. Instead, they deal in sonic monuments that are meant to challenge and, frankly, probably rattle your teeth a bit.

Following on from the success of 2024’s Sunless, the trio are back with their first offering of 2026. Titled Two Dances For The End Of Days, it’s exactly as cheery as that name suggests. The release features two tracks designed to soundtrack what the band describes as a “fractured, hate-ridden rot.”

The first track, “Pyrrhike”, starts off in total darkness before kicking into a frantic, dirty rhythm that feels like being chased through a dodgy alleyway at 3am. It’s industrial, mechanical, and features some properly desperate vocals that sound like they’re being squeezed out of a machine. It even features a clarinet, courtesy of Claire Knox, though don’t expect any jazz solos here.

The second “dance”, “Bacchanalia”, slows things down but doesn’t make them any easier. It’s a slow, heavy grind that feels like a steam hammer, focusing on a soulless, distorted vocal style. It’s easily some of the bleakest stuff the band has put out to date.

The tracks were recorded and mixed at Holy Mountain Studios by Misha Hering, who has worked with the likes of 40 Watt Sun and Puppy, and mastered in Berlin at Scape Mastering. If you’re a fan of the likes of Godflesh or Isis, this is likely right up your street.

Two Dances For The End Of Days is set for release on 17th April via Road To Masochist on both CD and digital formats.
