Skid Row’s Rachel Bolan reveals second solo single “Anything But You”

Following the recent announcement of his debut solo project, Skid Row bassist and songwriter Rachel Bolan has released “Anything But You”, the second single and video from his upcoming album. Stream the single now. Operating under the name BOLAN, his first solo full-length, Gargoyle of the Garden State, is set for release on 12th June.

The album is described as a bold and deeply personal debut that draws on the grit and attitude of Bolan’s New Jersey upbringing. Produced by multi-Grammy winner Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice In Chains), the record features Bolan performing most of the instruments himself. “Gargoyle of the Garden State is not a project, it is every bit of my soul,” Bolan says. “Like me, it knows when to be serious and also knows where the party is”.

The record showcases a wide range of influences – from Punk Rock and New Wave to Brit Pop and Glam—and includes a cover of Oasis’ “Rock And Roll Star”. Bolan is joined by an impressive list of guests, including Corey Taylor, Danko Jones, Nuno Bettencourt, and fellow Skid Row members Scotti Hill, Dave “Snake” Sabo, and Rob Hammersmith. Gargoyle of the Garden State will be available on CD, LP, and digital formats.
