Redefining the boundaries of heavy music with their signature “bubblegum alternative metal” sound, Nova Riot have officially signed a worldwide deal with Eclipse Records. Hailing from Durant, Oklahoma, the trio is set to disrupt the landscape with their debut full-length album, Blood, Lies, and Lullabies, scheduled for release on 21st August 2026.
Operating under the defiant mantra of “Music with No Apologies,” Nova Riot – consisting of vocalist Nova Ray, bassist Orion, and lead guitarist Ares – pioneers a sound that blends gritty defiance with polished melodic anthems. Produced by Braxton Henry, the album explores themes of mental health, self-mastery, and the duality of the human experience. Standout tracks include the escapist storytelling of “Midnight Coven Crush” and the atmospheric textures of “The Altar,” which features a guest appearance from The Bunny The Bear.
“When Nova and I started Nova Riot, I knew right away that this project had some magic!” says guitarist Orion. “It had the music, the theatrics and the talent to back it all up. Eclipse has given us the great opportunity to prove ourselves as heavyweights.” Frontwoman Nova Ray adds: “I’m absolutely stoked to begin this journey and next step to creating meaningful art and hoping it is seen and felt by anyone who our creations resonate with.”
