Tampere-based heavy metal outfit Demonessa has announced the release of their long-awaited debut album, Wild ‘N’ Loud, arriving on 1st May. Formed in 2019, the band describes the record as a love letter to the ’80s heavy metal scene, blending old-school tones with a modern production twist.
The album was primarily written by guitarist John Creweholm, with lyrics and vocal melodies handled by singer Senja. Recorded in the band’s rehearsal room and mixed by Aleksis Pelli at Mix Studio 1101, the band aimed to capture a “cannons from hell” drum sound reminiscent of their live energy. Standout tracks include the high-voltage opener “Till Death Do Us Part,” the power ballad “I Stand Alone,” and the explosive album closer “A Knife to a Gunfight”.
According to the band, the record is intended to inspire a new generation of rock stars through arena-shaking choruses and hard-rocking riffs. Fans of glam and traditional heavy metal can pre-save the album now via the band’s official channels.
