Dwarves return to “feral” hardcore roots with new album ‘JENKEM’

San Francisco’s most notoriously volatile outfit, the Dwarves, have announced the release of their new full-length LP, JENKEM, arriving on June 5th via Greedy Records. Known for a reputation that makes G.G. Allin look like a choirboy, the band is billing this record as a ferocious return to their fastest and most aggressive form.

Produced by Blag Dahlia and mixed by Andy Carpenter, JENKEM features thirteen short, violent bursts of unfiltered hardcore alongside one mid-tempo crusher. The album reportedly revisits the raw, confrontational energy of their Blood, Guts & Pussy era, blending the urgency of classic punk with the blunt force of thrash. To support the release, the band is rolling out a series of animated videos and collectible 7-inch releases alongside their usual DIY-driven merch.

The announcement comes with a massive tour schedule that sees the band taking their chaotic live show across North America and Europe. After kicking off in May with Screeching Weasel, the band will head overseas for a heavy stretch of European dates and festival appearances alongside Eye Hate God, before returning to the States in September for shows with The Exploited and Total Chaos.

The tracklist for JENKEM is as follows:

Side One

  • Confused
  • We Are the Scene
  • Drug Lust
  • Damned If I Do
  • Must Confess
  • Too Messed Up
  • I’m Dead

Side Two

  • Bad Drugs
  • I Wish You Were Dead
  • Psychosis Tripping
  • Hey Melania
  • Here We Come Again
  • Be Ruthless Destroy
  • Last Chance
