Dan Byrne finds his way “Home” with final single before debut album drop

Merseyside’s own Dan Byrne has officially unveiled his new single “Home”, giving us one last look at his highly-anticipated debut record, This Is Where the Show Begins, before it hits the shelves on 22nd May via Frontiers. The track is a sprawling, cinematic alt-rock epic that sounds like 30 Seconds To Mars and Glenn Hughes teaming up to provide the soundtrack for the end of a storm. Orders are being taken now.

Born out of long nights and hotel rooms on the road, “Home” isn’t about a place, but a person. “Musically, it’s vast—cinematic guitars, soaring vocals, and a sense of release,” Dan explains. “Lyrically, it’s about connection that transcends distance. After exploring conflict, self-sabotage, and pain across the album, this song represents acceptance, stillness, and clarity.” It’s a love letter to his partner and acts as the emotional resolution to the journey the album takes you on.

The single follows a triumphant headline tour that saw almost every date sold out (our Glasgow review here), and the momentum isn’t slowing down. To celebrate the album release, Dan is heading out on an extensive acoustic record store tour across the UK, including a matinee show in Glasgow and an evening slot in Edinburgh. He’s also confirmed for a slot at the legendary Steelhouse Festival on 25th July.
