Southern California’s favourite punk-metal hybrid, Zebrahead, have officially kicked off 2026 with a bang. The band have released their latest single, “Burn Burn Burn”, which serves as the first taste of their upcoming EP, O. This new collection marks the final chapter in a series of EPs that includes III, II, and I. Stream the single now.
According to the band, “Burn Burn Burn” is a high-energy anthem that stays true to their signature sound. Vocalist Ali Tabatabaee describes the track as aggressive yet melodic, while drummer Ed Udhus gives a slightly more colourful comparison, likening the song to “Slayer and Taylor Swift doing Redbull vodka shots at the pool on Spring Break till 6AM.” If that doesn’t paint a picture for you, nothing will.
Guitarist Dan Palmer is particularly chuffed with the new material, noting that the track features one of the “shreddiest” solos he’s ever put to tape. It’s exactly the kind of raucous energy we’ve come to expect from a band that has been a staple of the scene since the late 90s. UK fans won’t have to wait long to hear the new tunes in a live setting, as Zebrahead are confirmed for the Slam Dunk Festival line-up this May. With a reputation for turning every show into a massive party, they remain one of the most consistent live acts on the circuit.

The band, rounded out by Adrian Estrella, Ben Osmundson, and Dan Palmer, show no signs of slowing down. As Ben puts it, as long as the punters keep showing up, they’ll keep touring the world and putting out music. With the O EP cycle now underway, expect plenty more noise from the SoCal veterans throughout the year.
