Sace6 announce debut album ‘Brutalist’ and drop new single / video “Covet”

The enigmatic duo sace6 have been making waves by smashing together R&B vibes with heavy metal intensity, and now they’ve finally given us the details on their first full-length effort. The debut album, titled Brutalist, is set to arrive on 8th May via Sumerian Records.

To get us in the mood, the band have unleashed a brand new track called “Covet”, complete with a fresh music video. It’s a moody, tension-heavy number that perfectly captures the band’s “monochromatic romanticism” aesthetic. Speaking about the new tune, the band didn’t mince words, explaining that “Covet” is an audible representation of jealousy and wanting what someone else has to the point of being stuck in your own head.

Formed only a couple of years back by sace. and Noah Thomas, the NY/NJ pair have quickly moved past being “just another new band.” They’ve already spent time trekking across the UK and Europe, proving that their mix of pop melody and distorted grit works just as well on stage as it does on record. While they’ve got a busy summer ahead playing the likes of Warped Tour over in the States, we’re keeping our eyes peeled for when they’ll be heading back to our shores to celebrate the album release.

Brutalist is shaping up to be a proper genre-bender, featuring eleven tracks including a guest spot from jxdn on the song “Reverie”. If you fancy getting ahead of the curve, pre-orders are live now.
