Never a band to do things by halves, Muse have officially announced their tenth studio album, The WOW! Signal, by literally launching the news into the atmosphere. Partnering with Sent Into Space, the trio sent a specially designed tablet 33km above the Earth to premiere the music video for their brand-new single, “Be With You”. You can see it far more easily by scrolling down…
The album, which lands on 26th June 2026 via Warner Records, takes its name from the famous 1977 interstellar radio burst that hinted at extraterrestrial life. It’s the band’s first full-length since 2022’s Will Of The People, and if the lead single is anything to go by, Matt Bellamy is leaning heavily back into the cosmic mystery and grandiose prog-rock that fans adore.
“Be With You” starts with a haunting, humming church organ before exploding into a blend of driving electronica and searing rock riffs. The cinematic video stars Ella Balinska (Resident Evil) and was directed by Nico Paolillo. It depicts a surreal celestial event where a red halo clings to the moon – classic Muse territory.
The band also included a second payload in their space launch containing limited-edition stickers for fans to claim. While a full world tour hasn’t been announced just yet, the band are already slated for major festival slots this summer, including Summerfest in Milwaukee and Festival d’été de Québec.
