German death metal veterans Resurrected are back with a brutal new offering in the form of “Forever Damned”. It’s the second single taken from their upcoming eighth full-length album, Perpetual, which is set to drop on 10th April 2026 via Testimony Records.
The track is a proper old-school assault, packed with the kind of relentless blast beats and crushing riffs that have defined the band since they first crawled out of the Ruhr Area back in ’93. Guitarist Thomas Granzow has a particularly personal connection to this one – he wrote it while recovering from cancer rehab in 2017, and it’s taken until now for the song to finally find its place on a record.
Coming from the same industrial heartland that gave us the likes of Kreator and Sodom, Resurrected have always had that gritty, working-class edge to their sound. “Forever Damned” is no different, featuring some seriously inhuman vocals from Chris Mieves that’ll rattle your speakers if you’re brave enough to crank the volume.
If you’re a fan of Cannibal Corpse or Suffocation but fancy something with a slightly more European underground flavour, then Perpetual should be right at the top of your shopping list. You can pre-order the new album on various splatter vinyl formats and CD directly from the label here.
