Uncultivates, the newest riff-totin’ cowboys from Southern (Ireland) Texas on the block, are kicking off 2026 with a bang in the form of their latest single “Every Day I Wake Up On The Bonnet Of A Different Car”.
The fact that this only their third single ever – it’s the second single from upcoming debut album This Will Become Clear Later, Like The French Revolution – is quite frankly astonishing. Uncultivates have already cultivated (sorry) a sound that’s both well-polished and masterful. They even recorded the entire album themselves, and were assisted with the mixing and mastering by Joe Clayton, who has previously worked with the likes of Conjurer, Ithaca, and Underdark.
If mathy post-hardcore a la Every Time I Die and Jesus Lizard is your bag, then saddle up and join the rodeo.
“Every Day I Wake Up On The Bonnet Of A Different Car” is out now, and this is just a glimpse into the cowboy myth and lore you can find on Uncultivates’ debut album This Will Become Clear Later, Like The French Revolution, which is set to be released on February 6th via Horsebox Records.
