The Moshville Times - TX2 teams up with Magnolia Park for theatrical new single “Murder Scene”

If you’ve been keeping an ear to the ground of the alternative scene lately, you’ll know TX2 has been making some serious waves. Fresh off a massive UK arena tour supporting Ice Nine Kills, the fast-rising rocker has just dropped a brand-new track, “Murder Scene”, and he’s brought Magnolia Park along for the ride.

The new single is the latest taste of his upcoming debut album, End Of Us, which is landing on 13th February 2026 via Hopeless Records. If you like your rock with a side of gothic horror and raw emotion, this one’s for you. “Murder Scene” paints a pretty grim picture – set in a haunted motel full of ghosts and shadows—but underneath the theatrical nightmare, it tackles some heavy themes of betrayal, abandonment, and mental health struggles.

Evan Thomas (TX2) explains how the collaboration came about naturally: “Magnolia Park and I have been friends for years now, and since they had me featured on a song, it seemed only right to invite them to collab on this track. The song ‘Murder Scene’ dives into the story of our album, with Josh playing a different character introduced in the last act.”

The track follows on from the six-minute epic “The End Of Us” (featuring Black Veil Brides), continuing the narrative arc that Thomas is building. It’s clear he’s not doing things by halves; the guy describes the album’s sound as “punk meets vampire-core with an Eminem edge”. It’s a bold mix, drawing on influences like My Chemical Romance and Green Day, but twisting them into something modern and distinct.

Beyond the tunes, Thomas has built a solid community with the ‘X Movement’, a Discord-based space offering support for fans dealing with mental health issues. It’s this genuine connection—staying for hours after shows to meet fans and keeping ticket prices low – that has earned him a die-hard following.

With End Of Us just around the corner, 2026 is looking like a massive year for TX2. He’s already lined up for a return to these shores this summer for a spot at Download Festival.
