Belgian sludge/doom collective Predatory Void have unveiled another taste of their upcoming material. The band, which features current and former members of heavy hitters like Amenra, Oathbreaker, and Cobra The Impaler, have released a visualiser for their new single “New Moon”.
It’s the second track to be lifted from their new EP, Atoned In Metamorphosis, which is set to hit the shelves on 6th February 2026 via Pelagic Records. If you missed the first single, “Contemplation In Time”, that’s already out there for your listening pleasure.
Speaking about the new track, guitarist Lennart Bossu explains that “New Moon” was actually the first song written for the release. He describes it as reflecting “a relentless chase for wholeness that always ends in emptiness, mirroring the moon’s endless cycle.”
The EP itself was recorded with Gilles Demolder (Wiegedood, Oathbreaker) to capture a raw, performance-centric vibe. Conceptually, the band say the record is about confronting the uncomfortable truths and darker sides of the human psyche – obsessions, grievances, and the bits of ourselves we usually try to ignore.
The lineup for this release sees vocalist Lina R joined by Bossu and Thijs Decloedt on guitars, Kris Auman on bass and vocals, and Vincent Verstrepen on drums.
