The Moshville Times - Caught In A Mirror announce debut album ‘Neoncore’ after year-long single run

If you’ve been keeping an ear to the ground of the German metalcore scene, you might have noticed a steady drip-feed of bangers coming from Caught In A Mirror over the last twelve months. The “neoncore” crew—their words, and frankly, it fits—have been dropping a new track every single month since May 2025. Now, they’re finally ready to package the whole lot up into their debut album, Neoncore, which is set to land on 22nd May 2026 via Bleeding Nose Records.

The band describe their sound as a mix of metalcore, EDM, and hardstyle, which sounds like the perfect soundtrack for a messy night out or a very intense gym session. If you’re into the likes of Electric Callboy or Crossfaith, this is definitely one to have on your radar. The monthly single strategy has allowed them to build their sound in public, testing the waters with the fans as they go.

The album brings all those singles together into one cohesive package. You’ve got the high-energy party tracks like “Party Ganze Nacht” and “Tornado” sitting alongside more personal cuts like “Down”. Vocalist Giu explains the concept behind the title:

“Neoncore is like a hall of mirrors. You recognise yourself, but distorted. That’s exactly what we wanted. We didn’t just want to deliver, we wanted to challenge.”

Bassist Dario adds:

“We make music for everyone who wants to scream, laugh, and dance. Ideally all at the same time.”

The band are known for their DIY approach, handling everything themselves and putting a massive focus on their live show, which is apparently a bit of a visual spectacle. With the album dropping just in time for the summer festival season, it’ll be interesting to see how these tracks translate to a field full of punters.
