Heavy metal trio Veil of the Serpent have announced the details of their upcoming studio album, Born To Burn. Set for release on 20th March, the album promises to push the band’s signature sound into new, uncharted territories.
To celebrate the announcement, the band has released the album’s explosive title track. “Born To Burn” serves as a statement of intent, capturing the aggression and thematic depth that fans can expect from the full record. The single is available to stream now.
Born To Burn represents a significant evolution for the band, moving towards a more expansive, cinematic style. The record is a concept album set against the backdrop of a harrowing journey through the cosmic void. While the narrative weaves a cohesive arc exploring themes of isolation, rebellion, and interstellar devastation, each track is designed to stand alone as a self-contained chapter.
Formed in 2021 by guitarist Gene and his son Felix, Veil of the Serpent began as a shared obsession for heavy metal before evolving into a full-scale project with the addition of vocalist JD. The band describes their sound as a blend of punchy riffs, atmospheric tension, and melodic power.
