Hungarian speed maniacs Türböwitch sign to Time To Kill Records

Budapest’s very own speed metal nutters, Türböwitch, have officially put pen to paper on a deal with Time To Kill Records. The signing marks a significant step up for the band as they prepare to unleash their third full-length album, which is currently scheduled to land sometime in the first half of 2026.

For those not yet familiar with the name, Türböwitch formed back in 2016 as a bit of a laugh between mates Zslöd and Kommandante Klit. The idea was simple: pay tribute to the chaotic glory of 80s extreme metal with a raw, no-frills approach. Since then, the project has morphed into a proper five-piece outfit, churning out records like Napalm to Posers (2017) and Fullmoon Liquorthropy (2022). They describe their sound as a “blackened speed-thrash” assault, drawing comparisons to the likes of Midnight, The Crown, and Hellripper. It’s fast, it’s filthy, and it’s got that punk-fuelled aggression that just makes you want to start a circle pit.

The band have been grafting hard on the road, too. They managed to snag a spot at Wacken Open Air back in 2024 after winning the Hungarian Metal Battle, and they spent March of 2025 tearing up stages across Europe with Swedish heavyweights Enforcer. This new signing seems like the logical next step to get their unholy noise out to a wider audience.

We’re told the new material pushes their sound to its most ferocious form yet, so keep your eyes peeled for more details on the album as we head into 2026.
