Rising dark rock force Under Black Sky have released their highly anticipated full-length album, Bad Blood, today, October 24th, 2025.
To mark the occasion, the New Orleans-based band has also unveiled a new music video for the single “Pull Through”. The track is described as a “raw and cinematic portrayal of resilience, rage, and the unbreakable will to survive no matter what tries to crush you.” The video can be seen on their YouTube channel.
Drawing comparisons to acts like Ghost and Sleep Token, the band frames themselves not merely as a musical group but as a “reckoning” built on an extensive narrative. According to their lore, a secret “Order Beneath” buried dangerous knowledge centuries ago. Now that the “sky has cracked,” a signal has “bled through,” and four souls have been “claimed” by it.
These four members are not simply musicians but rather enigmatic figures known by their roles:
- Krysis – The Prophet (Vocals)
- Beast – The Executioner (Drums)
- Onyx – The Seer (Guitar)
- Jaxx – The Redeemer (Bass Guitar)
This debut album, Bad Blood, is presented as “more than an album” but as the “first chapter of an awakening,” with each track unlocking another “sigil in the codex” and a fragment of a long-buried truth.
Hailing from New Orleans and formed in 2023, Under Black Sky are known for their “wildly entertaining live shows,” which are described as “mesmerizing” and “an immersive and electrifying experience.” The band is currently on a US run, “The Undead Road Show,” in support of the new album.
