Hällas announce new album ‘Panorama’ and release first single “The Emissary”

Swedish “adventure rock” quintet Hällas have announced details of their fourth full-length album. The new record, titled Panorama, is scheduled for release on 30th January 2026 via the band’s own label, Äventyr Records.

To give fans a first taste of the new material, the band has just released the lead single, “The Emissary”. Download or stream it now.

The new album is said to both consolidate and expand the band’s signature sound. Panorama is described as an “imaginative hybrid of progressive 70s rock and heavy metal with echoes of both folk and psychedelia”. While the sound may be familiar to existing fans, the material reportedly shows a new level of self-confidence where “influences from different directions collide, and sometimes clash”.

Thematically, the album explores humanity’s capability (or lack thereof) to understand perspectives other than their own. In typical Hällas fashion, this concept is staged within a fictional, distant world.

Formed in 2011, Hällas had their initial breakthrough with the 2017 full-length album, Excerpts From A Future Past, which featured the popular track “Star Rider”. This was followed by Conundrum in 2020, which earned the band a Swedish Grammy nomination, and 2022’s Isle of Wisdom. The band has cultivated a strong following with their unique “adventure rock” genre, known for its epic fantasy themes, twin guitars, and vintage synths.

Hällas have announced an extensive European tour in support of the new album, set for February and March 2026. Currently, no UK or Irish dates have been confirmed as part of the run, which is focused on mainland Europe and Scandinavia.

Panorama is available to pre-order now from the band’s official shop.
