In a monumental collaboration uniting titans of British heavy metal, Judas Priest have released a new version of the Black Sabbath classic “War Pigs”, featuring the late iconic vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. This emotionally charged project was born from friendship, mutual respect, and a shared mission to fight Parkinson’s disease, a cause close to the hearts of both bands, as both Priest guitarist Glenn Tipton and Ozzy Osbourne have battled the condition.

The project initially started as a tribute video for Ozzy and Black Sabbath after Judas Priest were unable to join them at the Aston Villa show in July 2025 due to a clash with the Scorpions’ 60th Anniversary show in Hannover. However, the idea quickly grew in purpose and power when Judas Priest suggested turning the tribute into a full-blown charity single. Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne immediately embraced the idea.

The final result is a raw, soaring, and poignant version of the iconic track. It features Rob Halford and Ozzy Osbourne trading alternate vocal lines, making it a historic and long-awaited duet for the two legendary frontmen. Guitarist Glenn Tipton, who announced his Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2018, also contributed guitars to the track, further cementing the collaborative and deeply personal nature of the single.

The funds raised from the charity version of “War Pigs” will support the important work of The Glenn Tipton Parkinson’s Foundation, which was founded in 2018 following Tipton’s diagnosis, and the Cure Parkinson’s charity.
