Internal Bleeding announce unforgiving seventh album ‘Settle All Scores’

Long Island, New York’s undisputed kings of slam, Internal Bleeding, have announced their vengeful seventh album, Settle All Scores, out October 17th through Maggot Stomp.

For over thirty years, Internal Bleeding has weathered challenges, setbacks, and betrayal. This pent-up anger and frustration has now been synthesised into their new album. Settle All Scores is a deeply personal record that directly aims at those who have done the band wrong, serving as a testament to their resilience and strength in adversity. It promises to be the most aggressive, slam-filled Internal Bleeding album to date.

Through six previous albums and countless tours, Internal Bleeding has not just been a part of the underground extreme music scene; they have actively shaped it. Their debut album, Voracious Contempt, is widely credited with defining the slam genre, combining the power of death metal with grooves inspired by New York hardcore and hip-hop. From the obscene heaviness of The Extinction Of Benevolence to the hardcore-tinged attack of Driven To Conquer, each of their albums has offered a different approach. With Settle All Scores, the band expands what is possible within the genre they created without losing sight of their core sound.

The current lineup—vocalist Steve Worley, guitarist/vocalist Chris McCarthy, guitarist Chris Pervelis, drummer Kyle Eddy, and bassist Ryan Giordano—bulldozes everything in its path with eight new tracks. The album was produced by the band, re-amped and mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Studio (Nails, God’s Hate), and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Creeping Death).

The record is completed with cover art by Mark Richards and features guest vocals from Sherwood Webber (Skinless), Mikey Petroski (Never Ending Game), and former Internal Bleeding vocalists Joe Marchese, Jay Lowe, and Frank Rini.

Settle All Scores will be released on LP, CD, MC, and digital formats. Two tracks, “Crown Of Insignificance” and the title track, are currently streaming.
