Alternative metal band Esprit D’Air have today released “Chronos”, the fifth single from their highly anticipated new album, Aeons. The full album is set for release on November 7th, 2025.
The band describes the theme of the new single:
Ever feel like history just keeps repeating itself? Will we ever learn? Sometimes it feels like the world is stuck on repeat. The same conflicts, the same mistakes that humans make. Chronos is written from the perspective of time itself, questioning whether we’ll keep following the same path or find the courage to change. It’s a reminder that change starts with us, even if it’s just one small step at a time.

About the Band
Led by The Sisters of Mercy’s guitarist, Kai, Esprit D’Air have carved a unique path in the metal scene1. The lineup also features former Ghost and Pendragon drummer Jan-Vincent Velazco. As a 100% independent act, their sound defies easy categorisation, blending everything from nu-metal and djent to power metal and electronicore.
Their impressive career includes winning Best Metal Album at the Independent Music Awards for their 2017 debut, Constellations, which was judged by icons from Slayer and Sepultura. Their 2022 follow-up, Oceans, stormed the Official Charts, hitting #8 in the Rock & Metal chart.
Upcoming UK & Ireland Tour
The band will also be embarking on a grassroots tour of the UK and Ireland in late 2025 and early 2026.
