Polish pop punk heroes CF98 return this autumn with their brand-new album Stupid Punk, out October 24th on SBÄM Records (EU) and Double Helix Records (US). The record will be available worldwide on vinyl LP and across all major digital platforms.
Formed in Krakow and relaunched in 2017, CF98 have carved a reputation through explosive live shows, a DIY ethic, and anthems that blend skate-punk grit with melodic hooks. They’ve toured Europe, the UK, and Japan, played festivals such as Punk Rock Holiday, Brakrock and SBÄM Fest, and even opened for German legends Die Toten Hosen in Warsaw — cementing their place as one of Poland’s most exciting punk exports.
On Stupid Punk, the band stay true to their skate-punk roots while embracing new sounds. The record adds a modern pop-punk edge, fresh instrumentation, and fearless songwriting. Early singles have already been praised for their speed, heart, and raw energy.
“This record is about where we came from and where we’re going,” says vocalist Karolina Duszkiewicz. “We’ve always loved skate punk, but this time we wanted to let in more of the sounds that feel real to us now. Stupid Punk is about growth, and not being afraid of it.”
For fans of Millencolin, Blink-182, and Neck Deep, Stupid Punk is a hook-laden reminder that punk is still about passion and evolution.
