Mimosa offer something different, a sound of thier own. Delivered with an energized, passionate, live performance that the people will enjoy without reservation. With influences from Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and Red Hot Chili Peppers we offer a unique sound crafted from a varied taste in music.
Formed during the global pandemic and live performances have already seen Mimosa fill tents at major UK festivals, such as YNOT Festival and more and headline shows all across the country. Mimosa have also headlined in Nottingham for BBC Introducing. Another sold out show which saw the performance recorded for broadcast.

Taxi Fare
Taxi Fare was one of mimosa earlier tunes written sometime in 2020. It pays homage to what a standard night out is like locally in our rural town. The dirty guitar tones and high energy is a reflection of how messy things can get in a ‘everyone knows everyone’ kinda town.
Madman
Madman, was written in the midst of lockdown when strange rules were applied to the public but didn’t seem they mattered to the people in charge, the whole thing feeling as if we were being controlled. “Madman” meaning one leader who rules the world and creates all these unfortunate events to stick to his plan all while remaining innocent for his actions
