Another one taken from us – Glenn Frey, founding member of the classic Eagles line-up that brought us the likes of “Hotel California”, has died aged 67. Cause of death is quoted as being “complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Acute Ulcerative Colitis and Pneumonia”.
He played guitar with the band until they broke up in 1980, and also contributed keyboards and vocals to some songs including the brilliant “Take It Easy”.
