Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer have announced a major world tour for next year, including a six-date run across the UK and Ireland. The “Everyone’s A Star! World Tour” will hit arenas in March and April 2026, including a night at The O2 in London.
The tour announcement coincides with the release of their brand new single, “Telephone Busy” (stream it here). This track is the latest to be taken from their highly anticipated sixth studio album, Everyone’s A Star!, which is scheduled for release on November 14th. Pre-order / pre save now!
The new album reportedly sees the band “boldly elevating their sound and aesthetic to another stratosphere”, pioneering what they describe as a genre-bending “alt-rock and future punk / pop” sound. The new material is said to draw inspiration from diverse artists such as N.E.R.D., Gorillaz, and The Prodigy. “Telephone Busy” follows the previous singles “NOT OK” and “Boyband”.
To launch this new era, 5 Seconds of Summer recently surprised fans in Los Angeles with a pop-up performance. Thousands of fans gathered to hear the band debut several new tracks from the upcoming album alongside fan favourites like “Youngblood” and “She’s So Perfect”.
General on-sale for tickets begins on Friday, 31st October at 10 am local time via their website.
