The 2024 festival is scheduled for June and will go down from Friday, the 14th, to Sunday, the 16th, and will be the 20th edition. Damnation Festival
The Damnation Festival is one of the biggest indoor metal festivals in Europe. This event occurs in winter in Manchester. In 2023, fans were treated to performances from Enslaved, Katatonia, Electric Wizard, Amenra, and more. Damnation isn’t about the headliners. It’s more of a premier for up-and-coming superstars, with most performers going on to become successful rock stars. The event occurs in three Torquay venues, including The Foundry, Attic, and Apple & Parrot. Burn It Down 2024 will go down in August from Friday 30th.
Roadburn Festival
The annual Roadburn Festival is a more progressive rock and metal event that attracts scene-defining artists from various countries. This event takes place in Tilburg, Netherlands, and draws fans from all over the world. Since 1999, Roadburn has pushed the boundaries of metal music, combining underground artists with famous rockstars. The boutique festival also features shows from multiple venues, but 013 is where everything goes down.
Roadburn 2024 will take place from Thursday, the 18th, to Sunday, the 21st of April, with performances from The Jesus and Mary Chain, UBOA, Chelsea Wolfe, Lankum Blood Incantation, Khanate, and more. The event is known for its unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime live performances. Fans also get treated to alternative hip-hop, electronic and non-contemporary rock music.
Radar Festival
The Radar Festival is another progressive rock and metal event and one of the newest. This event takes place in O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England and was recently recognised as the Best New Festival awkward during the 2022 UK Festival Awards. Radar delivers three days of live music from contemporary rock bands worldwide.
The 2024 line-up will see performances from Headliners TBA, Plini, Dirty Loops, Heart Of A Coward, Graphic Nature, Vola, and Oxymorrons. Radar is a different kind of event that doesn’t involve any camping. It’s indoors and has perfect organisation, so you can expect no clashes. The 2024 festival will go down from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th July.
