Heavy metal music originated in the United Kingdom in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The first heavy metal bands to gain fame were Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. They are known for having an eccentric approach to the genre and their live show is well known for the band members being dressed in wigs, costumes and other fun pieces of attire. - Blood Youth is a metal band from Nottingham, England that has been developing its sound with each release. The band has released three studio albums and one EP so far. They’ve been around for a long time and have participated in many tours, festivals, and compilation albums.
- Chronic Carnage is a metal band from Bradford, England. The two friends began writing music with the intention of playing it live in clubs across the north of England and the group formed in 2009 and released their EP A Time to Kill in 2010. They have since toured the UK, Europe, and Canada before releasing their debut album Systematic Domination in 2013. The band’s lineup consists of vocalist Ryan Wilde, guitarist Liam Reinhold, bassist/vocalist Nick Clough and drummer Ben Wiles.
