I recently caught up with the two Kennys of Scottish death metal mainstays BrainBath to have a natter about their role in Dead of Winter Festival III: The Trilogy. The festival returns to Ivory Blacks in Glasgow on January 30th and 31st, 2026.
Now entering its third incarnation, Dead of Winter has become a much-anticipated highlight of the UK underground extreme metal calendar. The two Kennys have been putting the graft in to curate a killer bill of old-school death metal alongside international acts. The festival’s return promises 14 bands across two days, showcasing the raw power of the scene and underscoring BrainBath’s commitment to keeping the Scottish metal community thriving.
