I think it’s fair to say that Austerymn have had a stop-start career. In various forms, Rik Simpson started Austerymn under a different guise in 1990, and it took them twenty-five years to release their debut album, Sepulcrum Viventium.
However, Austerymn now have a full line-up, which includes Rich Mumford of Malediction and Deathcollector fame. Rich joined us for an interview to discuss the band’s reformation, their upcoming live show at Dead of Winter in January at Ivory Blacks, Glasgow, and what music the band are now writing.
