It appears there is a resurgence of horror death metal from the underground, with bands like Tenebro, Mortuary Ghoul, and Grave Ghoul bringing the gore. You can now add Aortic Rupture to that list with their Mortician-influenced take on death metal.
Hailing from the Netherlands, Kees is a musician who has only been playing guitar for two years. Yet, in January of this year, he was able to release Aortic Rupture’s debut EP, Tales of the Living Dead. Having played songs from the EP on my radio show numerous times and even had Kees on the show, I thought it was about time we had a chat about all things Aortic Rupture… and so we did.
