Road To Bloodstock: If It Bleeds

Continuing our run of letting you know a little more about as many of the bands on at Bloodstock 2025 as we possibly can before you get a chance to see them, we have If It Bleeds. This bunch play on the New Blood Stage on the Friday.

Simple things first – where are you guys from?

We are from Belfast, Northern Ireland.

How long have you been playing together as a band?

We have been a band for about 2 years.

Where does the name of the band come from?

Have you ever seen the movie Predator? Where Arnie Say “If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It”

Describe your music. What makes you unique?

We are a very heavy and aggressive sounding band. But we have a very unique style and sound which all attendees can look forward to.

What’s your live show like? Why are people going to watch you instead of another band?

Hopefully they can see how much energy we will bring and how crowd interactive our vocalist Paddy is.

Have you been to Bloodstock before? What did you think?

Nope, this is actually going to be a first for all of us. So it will be a very special Bloodstock for us.

Which M2tM region did you win, or did you come through other channels?

We won the Northern Irish Metal to the Masses hosted By James Loveday and Voodoo Bar.

Can you put into 10 words or fewer how it felt when you realised you were heading to Bloodstock?

Absolutely incredible, it was a dream for all of us.

What sort of setlist can we expect?

Our setlist will be a heavy one, we have a few surprises and anyone following our socials can maybe get an early surprise.

Stage times haven’t been announced yet, so which other band do you most hope you’re not clashing with so you can see them play?

Probably our Friends In Lock Horns and Insidious Void. Plus Kublai Khan

What are you working on at the moment?

Ohhh now, I can’t say too much here but there are multiple things we have in the works at the minute. And will be dropping a few hints at things to come on our socials!

What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?

Definitely the Party Cannon tour we were support on. We saw an insane amount of crowd surfing, front flips, press-ups, some one even backflip off the stage during our set in Dublin!

What drink do you throw back to get yourself fired up before going on stage?

Monster or water for sure. Got to be hydrated!
