There has been much hype surrounding the name of DeathCollector. Can I just say that is a brilliant name for a band? But I digress. Consisting of very well-known names within the extreme metal community, namely Andy Whale (drums – ex-Bolt Thrower, Memoriam), Mick Carey (guitars – Zealot Cult), Kieran Scott (vocalist – Ashen Crown) and Lee Cummings (bass – Severed Lacerations) and are releasing their debut EP Times Up on March 4th.
If you like your old school death metal of the British variety with a bit of punk thrown in there as well, then DeathCollector will be right up your street. With new songs already written, this band are not going to go away and would love to melt your face playing these songs live to you one day. Let’s make this happen people, be sure to go onto their bandcamp and pre-order the EP to help finance this.
I had a really nice chat with Mick and the plans for the band, so I thank you for this opportunity (first pint is on you).
Times Up is out March 4th
