Emo icons My Chemical Romance have unearthed a rare gem from their archives, sharing their 2010 studio cover of Pulp’s indie anthem “Common People”. Originally recorded for BBC Radio 1, the track arrives as the second preview of their massive upcoming release, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (Deluxe Edition), which lands on 10th July 2026 via Warner Records/Reprise Records (pre-order / pre-save).
The highly conceptual 2010 rock opera is getting a comprehensive reissue, packed with remastered album tracks, completely reimagined artwork, and nine bonus tracks available on streaming platforms and vinyl formats for the very first time. Fans can secure the deluxe collection in various physical packages, including double-LP zoetrope and picture disc configurations, alongside traditional CD and cassette pressings. A limited “BL/ind tour edition” vinyl will also be sold exclusively at merch desks throughout their upcoming live campaign.
The track drop precedes the band’s highly anticipated arrival in the UK for a massive run of stadium shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade. The tour kicks off at the end of the month, hitting major outdoor spaces across the country, including three consecutive sold-out nights at London’s Wembley Stadium.
