We reviewed Flayed’s album Monster Man at the end of last year and were rather taken with it. Today they unveil a cover video, the result of two members of the band losing a bet! Check out their humorous take on Guns ‘n’ Roses’ classic “Sweet Child o’ Mine”. That is, the video’s a piss-take but the song itself is pretty straight on and one I’d not be upset if they played live.
“Sweet Child…” easily rates as the most common cover we’ve ever popped up on here. Flayed’s version will be the fourth after Harp Twins, Luca Stricagnoli and … erm… the people of Mumbai. This is probably the most faithful to the original!
