“I wanted to write a song that encompasses my love of the holiday while focusing on the fact that Christ is still the reason for the season. In a modern world where popular culture gives center stage to Santa, movies about Krampus, and all the retail purchases (not that those things are inherently wrong), I love the creativity of Christmas. But the true meaning of Christmas is still the birth of Christ and the thwarting of Satan by that event,” states vocalist / guitarist Seth Metoyer.
