Hailing from Milan, modern alternative dark metal project Sun Fall Down are set to unveil their debut full-length, Burn. Formed in 2022, the band has crafted a contemporary sound that seamlessly bridges alternative rock, grunge, and metal, all while leaning into a heavy ’90s dark metal aesthetic.
Burn is a conceptual journey that follows a symbolic astronaut, a figure representing the universal human search for identity and meaning. This interstellar voyage serves as a metaphor for life’s trajectory, navigating the friction between light and darkness, joy and struggle, and the personal reflections that shape who we become.
The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered between late 2024 and early 2025 at Magnitude Recording Studio under the artistic direction of Matteo Magni. To complement the narrative, guitarist Christian Dellavedova developed a cohesive visual concept that expands on the record’s interstellar themes.
The digital edition of the album features nine tracks plus an intro, including a dark rock reinterpretation of Amy Winehouse’s iconic hit, “Back To Black” – a track exclusive to the digital release. For fans of Deftones, A Perfect Circle, and Nine Inch Nails, Burn is an essential, emotionally charged experience.
