Ascending UK hard rockers Burning Circus have just released their engrossing new single, “Rodeo”. Check out the video for the track here. With the band on the rise, we asked them to exclusively give us the five songs that have greatly influenced their sound:

Danko Jones – “We Sweat Blood”
“We Sweat Blood” hit me at an incredible time when I was discovering Danko Jones and a lot of similarly great bands, and this driving, high-energy track was one of many which helped to fuel not only my desire to create rock ‘n’ roll music but also my passionate attitude towards life in general.
● Chris
Massive Wagons – “In It Together”
Massive Wagons are everything that we aspire to be as a rock ‘n’ roll band: relatable, hard-working and zero bullshit. This song is absolute top-drawer from start to finish. The chorus is such an anthem. It’s the perfect song to blast out of the car stereo and lose yourself in.
● Gav
Motörhead – “Dancing on Your Grave”
I’ve chosen the Motörhead classic “Dancing on Your Grave”. It’s got that great opening hook, plenty of attitude, classic raw vocals, and an amazing solo. The first time I heard it I stopped in my tracks and then quickly went to the record shop to get a copy of No Remorse.
● Trad
Mötley Crüe – “Live Wire”
This song brings powerful energy! As a bassist I use passing notes, 5ths and whole step movements to add groove, Nikki uses these techniques here and I use them in our song “Rodeo”. I’m not the most technically advanced bassist (much like Mr. Sixx) but I always bring that sleazy, rock ‘n’ roll energy!
● Band
Buckcherry – “Dead Again”
When we first started out and were still building our collection of original songs, we played a few covers and would usually open the set with “Dead Again” since it immediately set the tone for our performance and let the audience know what they were in for: upbeat, blood-pumping, hell-yeah rock n’ roll.
